   Drink water and energy drinks. It helps drainage by consuming at least six 8-ounce glasses of liquids a day.

   Avoid drinking large quantities of alcohol as it can worsen the swelling of the lining of the sinus cavities and nasal passages

   Steam your sinuses. By inhaling steam several times a day, you'll stimulate drainage from the sinuses. Lean over a bowl of hot water for a few minutes with a towel draped over your head and the bowl to keep the steam directed toward your face.
   
   Minimize close contact with people who have colds and wash your hands frequently with soap and water to reduce the risk of your sinuses worsening .
   
   Quit smoking or try smoking less. Tobacco smoke can cause irritation and inflammation of the lining of the sinuses and nose. Inflammation can result in blocked nasal passages and sinus congestion.

   The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers these instructions for proper hand washing:
   
   Use soap and running water.
   Rub your hands vigorously as you wash them.
   Wash all surfaces, including backs of hands, wrists, between fingers and under fingernails.
   Rinse well and leave the water running until after drying hands.
   Dry hands with a single-use towel.
   Turn off faucet using a paper towel.
   
   When should you wash?

   Although it’s impossible to keep your bare hands germ-free, there are times when it’s critical to wash your hands.
   
   Always wash:

   Before eating
   After using the bathroom
   After changing diapers — wash your child's hands too
   Before and after handling raw meat, poultry or fish
   After touching animals
   After handling money
   After blowing your nose
   After coughing or sneezing on your hands
   Before and after treating wounds or cuts
   Before and after touching a sick or injured person

3. How homeopathic remedies are made ?
   

   Homeopathic remedies are made from plant, animal and mineral extracts, which are diluted in altering degrees in order to avoid disagreeable side effects. Paradoxically, the more dilute the remedies are, the more effectively they work.

   The process of making remedies is very distinct.

   For remedies derived from soluble substances, such as animal or plant extracts, the raw material is dissolved in an alcohol / water mixture that contains approximately 90% pure alcohol and 10% distilled water (ratio may vary depending on substance). This mixture is then left to stand for 2-4 weeks, shaken occasionally and then strained through a press. The resulting liquid is known as the mother tincture.
